99.9% Network Uptime Guaranteed by WebHostingPad. You MUST read this post carefully!
Uptime Guaranteed by WebHostingPad.
Webhostingpad.com guarantees that your website will be up and running at least 99.9% of the time during any given 12-month period. This guarantee includes network uptime, server uptime, web server and service uptime. It does not cover any areas where Webhostingpad.com has no direct influence, such as backbone provider failures, fibre-optic main line cuts, DNS or Domain Registrar issues with subscriber’s domain name, connection issues between the client’s location and Webhostingpad.com data center. This uptime guarantee is also not applicable if the service interruption was caused by external issues such as Acts of God, Wars or any other natural or unnatural events that Webhostingpad.com cannot directly influence.
What is SLA?
A service-level agreement (SLA) is a negotiated agreement between two parties where one is the customer and the other is the service provider. This can be a legally binding formal or informal ‘contract’(see internal department relationships). Contracts between the service provider and other third parties are often (incorrectly) also called SLAs — as the level of service has been set by the (principal) customer there can be no ‘agreement’ between third parties (these agreements are simply a ‘contract’).
Uptime Agreements often used for data services such as shared hosting, virtual private servers and dedicated servers. Common agreements include percentage of network uptime, power uptime, amount of scheduled maintenance windows etc.
Uptime guarantees are not the same as a Service Level Agreement.

What is SSH?
Secure Shell or SSH is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two networked devices. Used primarily on Linux and Unix based systems to access shell accounts, SSH was designed as a replacement for TELNET and other insecure remote shells, which send information, notably passwords, in plaintext, leaving them open for interception. The encryption used by SSH provides confidentiality and integrity of data over an insecure network, such as the Internet.
